Jenn is a master change agent. By the time she was 21, she had moved 22 times and has applied that flexibility and adaptability to her work as a brand strategist, scientist, speaker, author and coach. For 20 years, she has been transforming brands and driving revenue for companies of all sizes including Microsoft, Intel, PeopleSoft, Nektar, SAP and dozens of startups. To date, she has driven over $1.5B in new revenue to clients. She is known as a visionary leader with a passion for driving results through smarter marketing and better launches.
Among other projects, Jenn drove the successful development of the global branding and repositioning of PeopleSoft Global Services. After the brand repositioning, PGS had secured nine deals worth over $5 million each, compared to only one the previous year. This repositioning work helped grow the Global Services organization from a $700M to a $1B division with more than 4,000 employees. Jenn has aided several startups to high levels of growth including a biotech startup that was acquired for $500M shortly after their launch, and a cleantech startup that quadrupled its leads – and funding – shortly after their launch. Jennifer takes an analytical, results-oriented approach and is focused on making a significant impact to each of her clients’ businesses.
Jenn and her company, ThinkResults, have been the recipient of many awards including most recently as a Silicon Valley Woman of Influence. Women named to the award are recognized for their impact on Silicon Valley’s economy and their role as leaders and mentors. In 2015, Jennifer was nominated for the Anita Borg Institute Entrepreneur Award for Entrepreneurship. This award seeks to recognize women who provide a strong role model for young women and who turns technologies into viable businesses, transforms markets and creates change. ThinkResults, Jenn’s company, was also recognized in 2014, and again in 2015, as one of the top marketing agencies in Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
In 2007, Jennifer was recognized as one of the “Top 25 Women Redefining Success,” an award sponsored by Flexperience, in San Francisco. Women named to this list are singled out for their leadership in making flexible career strategies work for themselves and for others. In 2011 and 2012, Jennifer was nominated as an Entrepreneur of the Year by the Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment.
As part of her marketing and executive coaching practice, Jennifer is certified as an Master NLP (neurolinguistic programming) Coach. NLP is the science of how we make change in our lives and in business. She works with entrepreneurs and executives to help them make quick and lasting change in their lives so they can create the impact they were born to make.
Jennifer has published dozens of scientific, environment and health articles for a variety of publications all over the world and online media outlets including Discovery Channel Online, and blogs regularly at Brand Musings. Additionally, Jennifer is a sought after speaker, known for her energy and interactive presentations. She speaks on a variety of performance and marketing topics including making change easily in life and business, entrepreneurship, launch best practices, strategic brand development, effective market positioning, social media strategies and marketing metrics. She is currently writing a book on how to create personal and corporate brand transformations entitled, The Leapfrog Method: How to Make Change with Ease and Grace.
Jennifer is a long-standing member of the American Marketing Association (AMA), Silicon Valley chapter of the AMA, Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, Women in Consulting (where she is part of the Leaders’ Network), the Northern California Science Writers Association, and is an advisor to the Silicon Valley Brand Forum.
Jennifer previously served on the Board of Wardrobe for Opportunity, and remains a supporting member of the Guardian Circle. Jenn and the team at ThinkResults currently support the marketing strategy for Operation Freedom Paws, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of our returning veterans by matching them with mostly rescued shelter dogs and then training the team for nearly a year to become certified service dog teams.
Jennifer holds a B.S. in Biology from Queen’s University, Canada, an M.S. in Biology from the University of Waterloo, Canada, a certificate in BioEntrepreneurship from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley and is certified as a Master Neurolinguistic Programmer from NLP Marin.
