Challenge PeopleSoft Global Services, then a $700M organization, wanted to reposition itself as a full business partner to its clients to ensure continued growth.
Action
This repositioning work was led by Jennifer LeBlanc, as PGS Director of Communications. The work began by clearly defining the business strategy, and then developing well-defined messaging and positioning. This messaging was communicated in a fully integrated campaign, involving events, an expanded website, internal branding, sales communication tools, revamped collateral, and more.

Results
The year following the repositioning, PeopleSoft Global Services (PGS) had nine deals greater than $5M, versus only one in the previous year.
A key piece in this campaign was the PGS SalesTool Kit. This positioning folder and its six modular datasheets enabled the service sales team to customize the kit for each sales call and strategically position the services offered. The SalesTool Kit was delivered on time (less than six weeks), significantly under budget, and was enthusiastically received by the field sales force.
